Autumn Gatherings

How will I safely and beautifully have gatherings now?

As the weather is getting cooler and we are packing away those summer clothes, it’s our home environment and holiday entertaining that starts to consume our plans. But this year, how exactly are we supposed to make our homes feel welcome and look the part?

There are many things we can do to create seasonal spaces, as I like to call it! Sometimes simple shifts from linens and beach tones to velours, wools and earth tones, can make a visual impact. But not everyone has an interior palette that lends itself to Autumn and Winter decor. 

The best ways I’ve found to bind that visible puzzle, is to set large surfaces with neutral, but theme or festive oriented accents. For example… white, cream and gold colored pumpkins and holiday adornments make for a festive feel, sans the clashing.

Now once you have your cozy corners for the season, lets talk gathering! How and where shall you put everyone? 

There is no easy solution based on accommodating everyone’s indoor needs. However, several clients have had me over to source out the missing elements for their outdoor spaces– screened in porches, garages, patios, decks, and yes poolside. We are currently installing outdoor spaces to house new seating and eating zones, outdoor entertainment centers, heating lamps, cooking stations, game tables and more. 

So yes, we have so many wonderful solutions for you to be able to facilitate your fall and winter guests, and still maintain safety and comfort outdoors.
